Huli privacy policy

Huli is a daily Hawaiʻi geography game. This page says, in plain words, what the app stores.

What we store

• The player name you pick, a random player id made by the app, and a hashed login token.
• Your guesses (a pin location on the map of Hawaiʻi), the distance, points, and the time each round took.
• Report counts, if other players report a name.

What we don't do

• No email, no phone number, no password, no account.
• No analytics SDKs, no tracking, no selling or sharing of data.
• The app never asks for your location. The game doesn't need it.

Where it goes

Scores are sent over HTTPS to a Cloudflare Worker and stored in a Cloudflare D1 database so the daily and monthly leaderboards work. Map and imagery tiles are fetched from USGS, AWS Open Data, and OpenFreeMap; those services see your IP address like any website would.

Delete your data

Settings → Privacy → "Delete my scores and name" removes everything above from the server right away. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone and never leave it.
