Terms of Use

The short version.

Pegasus is free and open source under the MIT License. Use it, learn from it, change it, and share it. It comes with no warranty, and since your progress lives only in your browser, it can be lost.

Using the app

Pegasus is free. No sign up, no sign in, and no payment. It runs entirely in your browser.

License

The whole project is open source under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, and share it. If you reuse the code, keep the copyright and license notice, as the license asks. The source lives on GitHub.

What we ask of you

Be decent. Do not pass the work off as your own in a way that breaks the license, and do not try to harm other people with it. That is about it.

No warranty

The app is provided as is. We do our best, but we cannot promise it will always work or that your progress will never be lost. Use it as one tool in your learning, not as a system of record.

Your progress can disappear

Everything is stored locally in your browser. Clearing your browser data, using private browsing, or switching devices will lose your progress. There is no cloud backup, so keep that in mind.

If this site goes away

Pegasus is a single open source file on GitHub, so it will outlive any one place that hosts it. You can always download it and run it yourself.

Changes to these terms

If anything here changes, we will update this page and note the change at the bottom.
